Happy Halloween, everybody. I have something really special to share with you today!
Thanks to a mutual friend, I recently had the incredible opportunity to connect with and interview one of the most inspirational people I've ever met - Becky Basalone. For those of you who aren't familiar with her name or her story, Becky is the heart and brains behind the Teal Pumpkin Project®.
This campaign, which has spread across the globe and made Halloween safer and more inclusive for all children, has impacted millions. But, what many people don't realize is that this concept was not born at corporate boardroom table. It was simply an idea that this one very special food allergy mom had to make Halloween special for kids like hers. And, wow, has she done just that.
If you're someone who wonders if one person can really make a difference... please read what this incredible lady has to say to that! There's not a person out there - food allergy parent or not - who won't be inspired and encouraged by her story.
People like Becky Basalone simply make the world a better place.
